Teaching Schedule: Tuesdays and Fridays (Revisions)9:30 - bus picks up 'bout 23 kids at Woodlawn9:45 - bus drops em off at rink. We start applying skates to the feet of the children. 10:00 - the kids get on the ice, and our master lesson plan commences. 10:35 - the kids get off the ice, and we tear the skates from their feet so they can get back on the bus 10:45 - bus takes em back to where they came from. Good riddance. 11:00 - Bus drops them off and picks up "the new batch": 40 kindergarteners 11:15 - New batch arrives at rink, we hastily throw on skates, being sure to tighten all the laces, and wrap them around the ankles for support :) 11:30 - The kindergarteners take the ice, and we run for the hills while the teachers hold them off with gummy Barnies. And we teach them how to skate too. 12:05 - Kids get herded off the ice, and skates get removed 12:15 - Bus takes them back, and our job is done. The world is safe once again in our knowing hands.
